i have a problem, i have some junk in the optical path of my 23cii and cant figure out how to get to the condensers to clean them.
I used some canned air but that disnt solve my problem; gunk showing up on prints.

Anyone know how to dissassemble to clean or know IF thats necessary at all to clean the optical pat?

Make a gray medium exposure print without anything in the carrier, white blobs or spots then indicate crud (I believe that's the technical term) on one of the condenser surfaces. It could even be a spider or spider egg sack. Here's a manual to assist in getting the lamphouse apart and back together. We do this frequently at school.

Thanks to everyone who who replied and IM'd. I just got finished with this, it was much easier than it appeared to be at first.
