Yes it's always good for a laugh.
I worked with a guy, in a large camera shop back in the late 1970's (Joe was his name) and he used to do the same like in the video, until one day a large European customer didn't see the funny side and threw a punch. Joe ducked but got a swipe of the punch on his ear.
The manager had to intervene and calm things down and Joe had a large red ear for the rest of the day.
He never tried it again.

Fitting 35mm film into a cartridge camera would be considered normal nowadays. It made me nostalgic for Dixon's, where I bought my first Chinon camera.
