I echo this...airlines outside the USA are much more strict about max weight and/or size of carryon baggage being small enough to fit --without maneuvering the bag -- into dimensional limit size checkers. Some allow 10kg, while some have 7kg limit.
Keep it small, unless shooting professionally and affording to be able to lose gear due to baggage theft. Check EVERY airline that you willl be flying.
