How many systems do you use?

I guess I turned into a collector of 35mm cameras somewhere along the line. I started out with a love for Nikon's simply because that was the system i first learned to shoot with. I own quite a few Nikon's, but somewhere along the way I have added everything from Miranda, Minolta, Fujica, Yashica, Ricoh, Pentax, Contax, and anything else I found interesting and wanted to try. Many cameras are very affordable now, so why not expand the horizons?

I should probably stick to "systems". Right now, I have a bunch of different camera bodies, most with only one lens. At least with my 4x5 cameras, I've made adapter boards so I can use my Speed Graphic boards (which are cheap) with all of my other cameras, meaning I don't have to remount the lens when switching from system to system.

I have unconsciously done the same thing with 35mm as I have with MF. For MF I have a lovely RB67 system. I love the lenses, and the film backs mean I can have one camera and two or three different films with me, but it's heavy and bulky, so I also have a C220 TLR. I can take that, one lens, a couple of filters loaded up with HP5+ and it's more portable.

For 35mm I'm lucky enough to have a nice Nikon system; good lenses a few different bodies, and if I go out to 'do photography', then that goes with me. However, I've just dusted off my old Olympus OM-1n and I'd forgotten just how wonderful it is, the viewfinder is just so clear and bright and uncluttered, and it's so small and light. So if I'm just off out, I take that (loaded with FP4) and a 50mm f1.4 lens, and perhaps an old Tamron 28mm f2.5 slipped into the pocket as well.

Too many to list, none are SLR's as I don't like them, all vintage, just a sample Leica/canon LTM. Werramatic, Ambi Sillette and Voigtlander Vitessa T the Werra ambi and Vitessa T all with complete with full sets of lenses, the leica/canon with 35/50/85 and 135 which covers all my needs

I use Nikon (FM2s mostly) for my primary 35 mm system, although I have two Rollei 35s and two Olympus point and shoots. I use Mamiya C330 TLRs (with lenses from 55mm to 180 mm) for my medium format film system. I also have a Yashicamat 124G. I hope it's okay to mention that here but I use an Olympus Pen micro 4/3 for my digital system. I am primarily a film guy and did not want to make a huge investment in digital. I found this to be the best value and have always liked Olympus. An added bonus is that I can use my Nikon lenses with an adapter.

Definitely just one now Canon F1, I ( 2 F1n's and 2 New F1's ) I sold and part exchanged just about everything else recently and found it strangely liberating to have a more sensible outfit. I don't want any shelf queens.

I unfortunately have many systems for many jobs. I've sold off some gear, but need to sell off more.

I would test things and they didn't work out and be left with lots of cams I don't use much now. In 4 years I went though 5 dif IR cams while perfecting my infrared flash photography.

...in any proverbial case, I'm pretty satisfied with what I got now. (Mainly Fuji, Sony, Leica and Pentax) I just wish Leica made a little M43 pocket rangefinder like the old Oly half frame film cams and someone made an affordable FF 6mp back for my SWC. (for $1200) The only somewhat up to date gear I have is the Sony. The rest of it is 4 to 6 years old outdated, but I still like it.

In system ("modular" -- "adult Tinkertoy") cameras and 35mm, I shoot only Canon FD, but not very much, most of my film shooting is medium format with a Bronica SQ-A being my only other "system" camera. My other 35mm gear is an Argus C-3 which gets used at least once a year on Argus Day -- in "Argust!"

I used to use Olympus 4/3 and Olympus OM systems. Later I switched to Pentax digital since 4/3 was sub par even for amateur stuff, but I haven't given up OM system yet. Maybe if both of my bodies fail, I'll buy MX and entirely switch to K-mount gear.

Olympus OM system (2 bodies and 4 lens most of the time)
Fujica AX3 (2 bodies and 3 lens)

Rolleiflex TLR (3.5f and 2.8E)
Rolleiflex S66 (2 Bodies and 5 lens).
Mamiya C (2 bodies and 5 lens).

Got other cameras but those are the ones I use the most often and have some kind of "System" feel to them.

I started with Nikon, but then the draw of Zeiss and Leica lenses means I now have contax and r mount systems... And I wanna try some fd lenses...

I have a k1000 with a ton of lenses, I've got a voigtlander bessa r3m with a few lenses, I have a pentax auto 110 with a few lenses and I've got a titan 4x5 pinhole with two different cones. I've got other cameras but they don't have changeable lenses so I don't think they qualify as a system.

I started with Zeiss but the draw of modern Nikkors now means I have a Nikon system too.

For example, I love my Zeiss 28 F2, in fact I have two of them. But my Autofocus Nikkor 28 F1.8 is better.

I also have a Zeiss 28mm f/2 and at the same apertures, my manual focus Nikkor 28mm f/2.8 is optically just as good.
