Yes, I do. It's the feather on my website. I took that during my first photography class in senior year of college (1982). It actually won the Rutgers First Annual Photography Contest. I got a $20 gift certificate to a local camera store. I remember taking this photo while home for a weekend. Taped the feather up on my bedroom wall and lit it with an old brass pole lamp. Took it with my father's Speed Graphic and the crappy Kodak lens it had. Even now, some people still don't recognize this as a feather... I usually get "snake".

I still have ONE of my first prints. It was a print I did for the first photo class I ever took in college around 1973.

Surprisingly, I still have my first B&W and colour print.

first print

while I'm not really sure I have my first print I still have the first "proper" print that I did at the zone six workshops back in 1979...the one where all the tones are actually there!!
Best, Peter

My first prints were 127 size contacts, which I don't have. I do have my first 127 roll of film that I processed in 1972.

Mine were also 127 contacts, about 1938, and I don't have either negatives or prints.

Well, this is one of the ones I did at the Green Acres day camp, in 1968 or 1969. There's four candidates in the file, and this is the technically worst one, so I will presume it is the first. The darkroom was in an old Quonset hut on the campus of the school where the camp was. Film was expired Verichrome Pan 127, in a box camera they provided. Paper was even more expired, I suspect a warm-tone portrait paper. This one I obviously developed for a short time, it must have been over-exposed so we yanked it. It's showing some discoloration from bad fixing and/or washing as well.

They are still running the camp, and they still have a darkroom that they use at the camp:

Yes I still have my very first print. Was way over-exposed 120 contact print
using Ansco contact-printer box. Be about 11 years old in 1954. Time flies,
get it on film ! Second try was fine but still have both.
