Nikon fan since near-birth (ok, 12 yrs old) when I got my Nikkormat:
Nikkormat FT2
Nikomat FTn
Nikkormat FTn (soon to arrive)
Nikkormat FTn given to daughter, she won't give it back!
Nikon F
Nikon F2Photomic (from my stepdad at graduation, will always have huge sentimental value)
D200 (oh no!)
D90 (double oh no!)
lenses from 60's to modern AF-D

And that seems to answer the OP's question!
Good try.

Hey, the title says "How many Nikons?" and (almost) everyone loves lining up and counting their cameras. Numerous times. I am not one of them as two F3HP, two FM and F100 are there to be used and not counted.

Terry, that N5005 plastic piece of C is somewhat unique in that it doesn't depend on LCD's and may be usable after the displays of the newer AF's are gone. That said, I probably like my FM (currently loaned to my daughter) best of all. Also own F2's, Nikkormats and N70's plus an EM and a N4004 -- Ten in all at last count.

Since this has turned into a Nikon fanboy thread, not that there's anything wrong with that!....

I have five: D80 (sorry), F4, N5005 (plastic piece of crap!), N2020, and just got a lovely FM recently. I'm still hankering for an F2!

5. 2x F4, 2x F100 and D700. Resisting the temptation to get an F6 or maybe an F5. Logical brain says 'Don't need..."; Non-logical brain says 'WAAAANT NOWWWW!!!!'

+1. You have me thinking...given that the F6 will - in all likelihood - be Nikon's last professional film camera...well...maybe I should get one...:whistling:

removed-user-1

Not actually...

I'm a bit like rthomas, way too many. 3xF's, 2xF2's, 2xFTn's, 1xFT2, 1xFT3, EL, El2, FM, F100,2xF3's,F4, F5 oh, and a Nikonos 1, and 11 and111!

I don't own that list of cameras. I don't even wish I owned all those cameras...

I was listing the models I know of, in an effort to answer the OP's question.... I personally own two Nikons: an F3HP that is on a long-term loan to my father, and a Nikonos V that desperately needs a trip to the beach. And new o-rings. And a really good cleaning. Oh, and a lens that will focus.

I have a bunch of Nikons, the F2 being the oldest.

My favorite and still user is the F3HP with an MD-4 motor drive.

Only 3 at present, FM-10 gift about 11 years ago, don't know how many rolls of film Ive put through it, N-80 with battery pack and a D-3100, wife bought the 3100 last year for me. I foolishly sold my F4s last year, didn't realize how much I liked it:^(

An old family point and shoot, dead from a beach outing.
An EM loaned out to a student which hasn't been returned.
A f601 that runs well given to me by my father that I use to shoot an AF 14mm 3.5 pretty much exclusively.
Two f3hps! One beatup outside but flawless inside, the other nice outside but crinkly inside.

I'm pretty content with what I got, wouldn't mind a fm3a though...

Clearly John_Nikon_F must be in a Nikon recovery programme somewhere - he hasn't posted here yet.

Nikomat FTN and Nikon EM. And a slew of Nikon compacts. Previously had an FM2N and an FG, both of which now belong to other APUG members. I am loving the Nikomat, big, heavy and old, just like me.

FM, FE2, F + FTn (2 of them), F2A, F801...

But none of them see any use anymore; completely replaced by Leica & Rolleiflex 35mm SLRs (and absolutely no regrets, though the F is still a lovely camera).

F2A, FE, EL2 + Nikkormat FT3 (which I love). Almost forgot, also have an EM and a Pronea S.

Bought the F2A and FE new in 1980. Bought the Pronea (APS SLR) new in 1999. Bought the others used in the past few years.

And I also have replaced them largely with a Rolleiflex 35mm SLR. Love those Zeiss lenses.

I've got an F3, FE2, FM2n, FG and a jammed EM. The FE2 is my favorite followed by the FG and F3 for differing reasons. I've given away an FE that I paid next to nothing for since I knew it would sit in favor of the FE2.

Sold my F90x when I got a F100. Wish I hadn't - there was something very right about it for me though I know lots of people don't get on with them at all.
Also have one F3 (my current favourite) and an F50 which cost me £4.95 and is actually really good.

So:
F100
F3
F50
L35AF
AF220 p&s

Wish list:
F4
FM2n
F90x (again)

Adding to my previous post is an F4S just purchased from another APUG'er (thanks Ed!) that I'm looking forward to taking out for some exercise (darn this work stuff, gets in the way of photo-fun...)
