After just returning from vacation in Russia, I have film loaded in the 4 soviet rangefinders I returned home with.

Kiev IIa: I’ve already shot and developed several rolls with this camera, so I know it works. It was CLA’d by gentlehands in Niziny Novgorod before I picked it up from photrio user alexvaras who helped arrange it. Leaded with Fuji Superia 400

I bought a few ultra cheap cameras from Photolubitel in St. Petersburg, and the all have a test roll in them that I haven’t finished:

FED 2: Ultrafine Xtreme 100
Zorki 1: Ultrafine Xtreme 400
NKVD FED: Ultrafine Xtreme 400

I don’t know if it counts, but I also have 2 4x5 film holder loaded with Fomapan 100 for my new (to me) Linhof Technika.

Just my leica IIIc, has HP5 loaded, about 20 frames left.

Up until a week ago my filmo-70 had about a minute of film left, I think it was in there for a few years.

Which type of film and how/where will it be processed?

I still have double-8mm K II in the refrigerator that I need to send to Film Rescue.

Like Vaughn I have the DDS film holders loaded 10x8, 7x5, and 5x4, that gives me the freedom to choose the camera I feel best suited. With 5x4 that may be a pre-Anniversary Speed Graphic to use with a Cooke Triplet or Petzval, my Wista for most work, or my Super Graphic for hand held use/ As I have some of the 5x4 DDS loaded with HP5 and others with Delta 100 that gives me great flexibility.

I'm not keen on leaving MF cameras loaded, so don't if I can help it after losing most of a roll of Pan F left too long in an MPP Microflex.

Pan F is not a good film for occassional partial roll shooters, to be sure. The Rolleicord is on frame #5 (TMax400) from my trip to Watkins Glen (NY) in May -- I should take a walk around town.

I currently have two View-Master cameras loaded with film right now, Fuji Velvia 100 in my View-Master Personal Stereo Camera and Kodak Ektachrome 100 in my View-Master Mark II. It takes me a while to shoot 75 stereo pairs, I really need to get at least one of them to the end of the roll.

Why would you load a camera if you are not going to use it immediately? Leave your film in the fridge until you are ready to shoot. That way you won't have sixteen cameras with expired film in them.

I have just noticed this thread. Can anyone say in what way this thread has entertained, educated or informed their photography over its time period of 4 years? By and large it is just lists of cameras, isn't it with little or no relevance as a list to anyone except the poster?

Presumably it is only I who see things this way otherwise the thread would have died very quickly. So what is it that I am missing? If we'd met in bar in 2015 we'd have listed our cameras with film in them in say 5-10 minutes, should even such a question have arisen in this way and moved on to other matters.

I wonder what it is about the dynamics of a forum that sustains this kind of a thread?

Thanks

There is a similar one about the last film one developed (and camera used). Don't think you are missing anything. It is just like saying hello to someone when your paths cross...a social thing.

I just realized this was in the 35mm film area -- I have a 35mm camera somewhere, a Nikon 2002, but I have not seen it in a decade or so. Hopefully there is no film in it. Last time I used it was to photograph a friend's wedding...and that is the last wedding I plan to do.
