How many cameras do you have loaded with film right now?

I lost count. At least 4-5 medium format 645, 6x6, & 6x7, and well over 10 - 35mm SLR's. The difficult part is figuring out what they are loaded with. All I can go by is the ISO.

EVERY camera has some means of reminding you what film is in it. Older cameras had wheel you turn to symbols for Daylight, Tungsten, Negative, Reversal, etc. With 35mm you put the end off the film box in a holder on the back.

Not all 35mm SLRs have the film memo holder. Lots don't, in fact. The tried and true way with most any 35mm camera that has a rewind crank is to wind on the crank, taking up slack in the film cassette. When you feel resistance, you know the camera is loaded. But obviously you don't know what film is loaded. What pros often did with cameras that had no memo holders was to use masking tape, taped to the camera back, where they'd write down what was in the camera. I still do this.

The cameras that do not have a film memo holder, I tape a film box end with clear packing tape. Not elegant, but it has eliminated using the wrong exposure or confusing black & white and color film.

...and those that have neither the memo holder nor the reminder dial have a window so you can see the printing on the cassette. Except my Zorki 4K, it's got none of those. Oh well, I guess you're right, I'll have to use a piece of masking tape and a pen!

There's nothing on the Realist or the Belplasca either. The Fed's got a memo holder though. Damn, I'm going to have to go through my entire camera collection and look. That could take ages.

A Canon F1N with TX 400. I'm not going to load any more cameras until this is finished as I have a small backlog of films to process and I hate getting too far behind.

I am also about to embark on the replenished XTOL journey so I won't shoot any more until I have run my current stash of exposed films through my new processing regime.

Mamiya C220F w/65mm lens, just finished a roll of TMAX 100. The camera and lens had issues when I bought it a few months ago, this is the first roll I've put through it.

Nikon F loaded with Tri-X 400TX. Also the first roll I've put through this camera, it's a recent acquisition.

My ST801 is constantly loaded with some film, now using Delta 100. I have a borrowed 'Holga Pan 135' also which is loaded with old expired Tmax 100 and my Rolleicord IV has an unloaded Arista 400 waiting to be loaded again now that the camera is fixed!

This is a very few to be out of my "collection" since I have a tendency of loading a big bunch of cameras but not many have been used as of 2018.

I have travelled to (around) Hungary, Romania and Spain this year and that is pretty much where I used some cameras.
