Anti-fogging agent.
When I attended our local arts school for night classes in advanced darkroom techniques the instructor was kind enough to give the students a special "code number" to allow us access to the schools supply store. I purchased 4 boxes of Ilford MG paper (2 semi-matt,1 glossy and one postcard). The price was right, 1/3 that of the local photoshop.
I have kept the boxes unopened, triple wrapped in plastic and in the freezer.
My question is: If,by any chance, small amounts of fogging do occur when I develop the paper can anyone tell me the "brand name" of the chemical I would add to my developer? I searched the forums and found mention of KBr or Benzotiazole.
Thanks Much,
Mike
I should add that the paper was super fresh and it was 3 years ago.
