Perceptol is by far my most liked developer. For some reasons I don´t do much B/W work by the moment and I don´t want to throw away half the bottle everytime I develop some film. Ilford says it will last 6 months, but I don´t shoot enough film to use the whole litre within this time period.
I know that e.g. Rodinal does last very long but I don´t like the look it provides. Would it be possible to put the Perceptol solution in the freezer :D Or would it be smarter to fill the litre in 4 smaller glass bottles?
Any advice?

Split into 4 glass bottles and store in a cool place, but don't freeze :D. It should last up to a year roughly. Manufacturers have to be safe and give conservative figures.

I think it is a good idea to use absolutely full bottles. A few days ago, I developed a film ( Ilford PAN-F ) with perceptol. The stock solution had been in a one litre bottle, about 3/4 full , for almost half a year. I didn't think such a small air volume would harm it to much.
How wrong I was !!!!!
Many of the negatives were barely visible, but at least I could see that the grain was extremely fine. Next time I will use fresh developer and if anything is left over, fill the bottle to the top and seal it airtight.
Good luck !
