The Vuescan processed rgb is nothing more than a post processed image that could be better done in Photoshop, Lightroom, or another image editing program using the "flat" scanned "raw" file. Why learn another post processing program (Vuescan) or edit using both Vuescan and PS?Vuescan can save both the processed image and the RAW in 64Bit RGBI, so you get the best of both worlds.
Like shooting both JPG and NEF.
