For several weeks I have searched the usual avenues (eBay, KEH, etc.), and have yet to find an eyepiece for my Canon F1n. I do not have a local camera shop. About two weeks ago, there was such an eyepiece on eBay, but my Internet connection failed as I was trying to place a bid in the last couple of minutes (yes, this really happened). Thus, I am stumped. Please help me find one. Also, I need an eyepice, not an eyecup. I already have the eyecup (which cannot be used without the eyepiece).

you didn't mention where you're at. If you're in the Los Angeles/Long Beach area, there are a number of vendors at the Camera Expo shows (monthly) in Long Beach who have had the Canon eye cups...they also fit AE1's I believe. Try cameraexpo.com to find out when the next show/swapmeet is.

Dennis Kushner is selling off his FD gear. You should contact him.

Disclaimer: Though I have no financial interest in this sale of goods, I can attest to the fact he has been a reputable member of the FD community for many years. I've bought a few items from him in the past and can recommend him as a seller.

I thank you for the replies.

I have sent Dennis an e-mail message...hope to hear from him soon.

My Nikon F5 was missing it's eyepiece / cup. I found one on ARORAMA for $15. Check them out.

Is there anything special about this eyepiece? Round screw-in eyepieces are freely available in diameters 19 and 22 mm from Nikon and 3rd-party makers.
