I've had a bronica etrs and an etrsi and both had the same problem you've described. As Paul has already said, it doesn't affect anything, but it is a little annoying.

So does this happen with all the prisms? I have the non-metering prism on mine.

All the prisms do that, regardless of plain, AE-II or AE-III. Even with a brand new body and a brand new prism!

This is just like the experience I had just recently! I found a ETRSi kit on craigslist that was going for $220 which I already thought was a steal. But the seller told me she listed it on eBay as well and it was ending that day. I did some eBay ninja moves and won the kit for $187 . You got 3 backs with yours though, that's more than $150 right there! (used prices of course). I did get 2 lenses with mine though.
