household to PC cables. Prefer EU but I'm not impossible. Long lengths are not a problem.

Come on people, I know you got them.

Why not make your own, the PC cord that you want and the plug from the hardware store.
For me I find that Lowes and Home Depo have plugs that can be made to fit with just the few strokes of the file on one of the blades.

Good luck, I know you are not in US but would think you could find something that works?

Then again Paramount can make most anything

Dead Link Removed

In the past we used this style to plug appliances (lamps, toaster, televisions) into the wall (mains) to apply AC power to the appliance. Now the US uses similar but one blade is wider (polorized) or there is a third "prong" for grounding.

Most in Europe won't understand what you mean, my assumption was you want to synch a household item like a kettle, refrigerator, cooker etc to a PC to monitor the functions. Like a mobile phone to PC USB synch lead :D

ann: Some lighting sync cords are not PC, but two-bladed, like old-style (non-polarized) U.S. household power cords.

Hey Matt... if you find a bipost to PC or household to Graflex solenoid, please think of me!

Brian - none of the cables in the lot are labelled - so how am I going to tell if I find what you need ?

If I knew what I was looking for it would help:whistling:

I think this is what the OP is looking for:

I got this from B & H's site: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/32329-REG/Lumedyne_ASC1_Male_PC_to_Household.html

I have a bag of old flash cords somewhere that came as a part of a job lot. If I can find something suitable, I'll pm the OP with shipping costs (to where?)

Sorry for being unclear. It is indeed what matt is showing that I am looking for. I am not trying to fry my sync circuits by putting 110 VAC thru them..

I live in Europe, I couldn't find any US style power plugs even in a electrical supply place. I have two already, but have four norman heads, so to be able to use them all together I need more cables, and the ones I can find on ebay are to expensive with shipping (and no, I don't believe it costs $24.95 so send a cable to Europe). The don't need to be very long, I'll plug them into optical or radio slaves anyway.

I have at least one you can have for free, but it may take a day or so to find it, there's also two optical slaves in my darkroom with what you call household pins.

If you want them the're yours for the cost of the postage (from the UK), I cant test them but they should be OK.

Ian

Dear Ian, that would be very nice. I'll pm you my details!

Household plugs are not "houshold" items in europe.

I have them in my house. What do you use to plug your electrical items in?

Steve.
