You know--you don't need that special mirror adapter. Just get a large enough first surface mirror and put it on the baseboard and reflect it that way--or make a platform to gain some height. A larger mirror would lessen the effect of surface imperfections and give you more accuracy with getting the angles right and all lined up. I had a pretty good sized first surface mirror from an olde beseler opaque projector--the kind with the monster 18" lenses on them--THAT's the mirror you need. OR a decent sized one is in the polaroid mP4 camera viewers too.
Actually, the MP4 mirror mount/viewer has an adjustable angle to it--probably that's all you'd need and job done.
