If We think again , We found that multiple pinhole MURA lens , multiple sieve pinsieve lenses are simplified version of Light Diffracting Hologram.

These holograms are used at spectrography.

If we use a homogene hologram and if we know the film to hologram distance , We take a spectrum photograph with this combination.

Question , Can computer recollect this information from film in to a meaningful picture after scan like a MURA photograph ?

Thank you ,

Gidday Mustafa,

I admire how you expect people on a public online forum to able to assist you with these ideas, but far out dude, it's arcane/obscure stuff you're often coming up with - and then there's no follow through ...

Can I ask what you do for a living ?

You might want to note that you'll get no discussion here regarding computers and photography - the A in APUG stands for analog

Nick , I am an archaeologist by education .
Thank you for asking me to find you a analog solution.
I think if you make a slit scan enlarger which slit have a prism , you can convert spectrograph to picture. If I am not wrong.

Hi Mustafa,

Heh, funny you mention this I coded my own slit scan script in Matlab not so long ago - you can reslice the video information from any angle and animate the cutting plane over time (it can morph/do whatever a plane can do in Maya, which I use as the user interface) ...

some simple eye candy output: http://vimeo.com/10945336 - the colour you see is the time dimension so if you see spectra you are literally 'watching the video sideways'

If you replace the video data with CT / MRI / PET scan imagery (DICOM) you can do the same tricks that radiologists get up to with scan reslicing - quite a lot of data can be re formatted as 'voxels' (volumetric pixels) and be effected in the same fashion. Quite a liberating way to see data actually, lots of interesting and unintuitive results (for me at least).

But yes, as you understand it can be done in an analog way, thats how they did some of the effects in Kubricks 2001

Do you have any links so I can read up on the other things you originally mentioned ? 'for dummies'

I dont like to think on someone wrote.
I dont like to think more than 10 minutes per week.
My brain robot worked and I wrote everything.
beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.
I applied for a patent on MRI in 96 in army

Well, um, MRI has been around longer than 14 years ago and um,

er...

ok, back to it

hmmm,

harmonica - interesting - I think I get it now ... (or I'm thinking waaaaaay too hard)

Each little chamber outputs its own spectrogram which could be seen as vertical 'resolution' of voxel data (the other two being frequency and time for each chamber) - I'm currently coding an audio/voxel player with Max/MSP hence I tend to see things in voxels all the time now...

Nick , I have no single information or link whatever I wrote. Its a blitz and I write it.
Let me ask again , do you believe to hologram lens using like a normal lens and taking photographs with it on to film than computer synthesis after scan. I dont have any idea about voxels or max msp.
Only dummy book I know is for harmonicas. Harmonica is the cheapest and highly good sounding instrument even with 20 dollar HOHNER.

Wow. This is a difficult conversation to follow...I hope it carries on - it feels somewhat like a Monty Python Sketch...where Python is the programming language.

Cheers to you both for whatever it is you're talking about!
