I need to make some room and pay for the holiday so I'm letting some of my cameras go.
This is a fantastic Zeiss Contaflex Super BC with 50mm f2.8 Zeiss Tessar, 35mm f3.2 Zeiss Pro-Tessar, and 115mm f4 Zeiss Pro-Tessar. This was a favorite shooter of mine for a while. Its a compact 35mm camera with fantastic Zeiss build quality. The camera has heft and feels completely solid in your hands in only the way that Zeiss from the period can. All of the lenses are in fantastic shape as well. The camera shows a slight bit of use but is overall in great shape. The battery door lost the tip which keeps it closed so I keep it closed with a strip of black gaffers tape which solved that for me. The camera takes the old mecury batteries so you'll need Dead Link Removed(these guys are actually local and I deal with them frequently through the camera store I work in. Their product is fantastic and they ship fast.) The only functional issue with the camera is that when looking through the viewfinder, the shutter speed appears slightly offset rather then dead center in the shutter speed window. Shutter speeds are still completely visible and functional, just slightly offset so I wanted to let prospective buyers know for the sake of full disclosure. Everything mechanical is functioning perfectly along with the meter which is accurate.
I will pack it and ship fast so you have it for the holidays. I prefer to ship UPS Ground (far more accountable and trackable) which will be around $20 but I'll ship USPS priority which I believe is around $10 if you want. I'm also offering the camera at a lower price to offset some of the cost of the battery adapter and shipping.
Asking $170 for the full kit +shipping. Buyer pays PayPal fees. I'll accept PayPal, US MO or a personal check. In the case of MO or check the camera will ship when the money clears. Thanks!
