Hi there! You said you developed Kodak Vision3 in both ECN2 and C41  I am looking for an experienced opinion, because I want to purchase a 400ft roll of Kodak Vision3. So, if you could give me your opinion, that would be great. How far is the C41 color shift comparing to ECN2 for the same film? Can that color shift be adjusted after scanning?\
Thanks!

I shot about 1000' of Vision3 last year through a still camera. C-41 has a very heavy cyan/blue colorshift. ECN-2 does not have a color shift. It is more low contrast/log. Honestly, you won't ever get the results of correct colors developing in C-41.

Lots of color shifts can be corrected for in a hybrid process, though. There are, however, interlayer effects (e.g. for boosting color saturation) and DIR effects (read: sharpness), which may depend on correct color developer composition and process conditions. It would be interesting to compare two strips of Vision 3 film side by side - same exposure and subject matter, but ECN-II vs. C-41 development.

Even if all these effects can be controlled and corrected in digital post processing, there is still a non-trivial chance, that Vision 3 stock developed in C-41 is less stable.
