Guessing everyone’s shutter fingers are still hibernating after a long winter.
Anyone have any excursions planned to get out and do some photography?
Lee

I've got three weeks planned in August for Nebraska, Montana, Idaho and Wyoming.

Sparky,

That is great to hear. Wyoming is on my list too, but have not got a time yet.

This weekend I am heading out to corn country north west of Indy for a men's retreat. Expecting a bit of ribbing as I plan to bring along an ole stinky film camera.

Good to hear some others in the Great Lakes Area has some photo plans.

My wife and I are going to San Diego for 5 days. We'll be doing some shooting together, probably at La Jolla cove and the Gliderport. She'll have her evil computerized light-receiving device and I'll be bringing only 2 Mamiya C-33's - a trusty standby and an untested, new-to-me body. I'll get some solo time to shoot surfing from the Ocean Beach Pier, and hopefully check out the Chicano Park Murals. The murals are very colorful, but I really want to see what they look like in B&W.

I plan on hauling along three film cameras.

Living only about an hour away from Hocking Hills, I'm heading down there at least twice per month this year. Next trip is slated for this coming Sunday, always happy to carpool and/or grab a bite with fellow film shooters!

I hope to make it down to Hocking Hills before the fall, or if needed during the Fall!

There's also rumors flying around of an event happening in September in Ann Arbor!

I'll be here on Saturday.

Gonna hit up Ohio's Amish Country this weekend for a little R&R with the Mrs! Yes, I will have some cameras in tow!

No big plans, but I plan on indoctrinating little Nate on the joys of hiking. Ohiopyle calls. And McConnell's Mills. And Cuyahoga. So far, he likes tossing pebbles into streams, which is enough to let me take a few shots.

Southern California is warm enough so that my fingers do not need to hibernate. Since last Fall we went to Mesa Verde, off roading in California, Utah and Colorado, skiing at Tahoe California, and this month came back from several weeks in Paris and northern France.

I saw we had some questionable weather tomorrow on Saturday. Bad weather can make good photographs. Going to try to go out and about the Ohio country side and chase the front and back of weather fronts with some contrast filters. Looking for some high upward swept clouds over farms and small towns.
