Hi All:
I have been lurking for a bit and decided to finally introduce myself. I

My history includes:
1. 6 years as a family and children portrait photographer
2. 3.5 years in a motorhome photographing the people of America and the work they do.
3. 2 years getting published and promoting
4. Now I travel and partake in Art Festivals across the country. This enables me to do the two things I love the most, travel and photography. (oh and selling my work)

My working people project was shot with a Bronica and black and white film. My landscape and anything else that interests me is shot with Kodak's infrared film using both the Canon and the Widelux. My motorhome has a simple darkroom in it so that I can process and print on the road.

I have been written up in Photo Techniques Magazine and BW Magazine. I was on CNN, The Fine Living Channel and many other small tv news programs. I was recently was interviewed and podcasted on The Candid Frame.

Other then that, I just love the search for the subject matter, capturing and processing and printing.

Hi Christine, welcome to APUG. I live in the one place in the country you can't visit with your motorhome, I'll let you figure out where that is.

Looking forward to seeing some of your work,

Welcome Christine,
You have traveled a lot. I love your work on your website. I'm in Oklahoma, we have several wonderful art festivals. Ever shown at Mayfest in Tulsa?

Thanks for chiming in. Nice work and love the rollover. Loads fast!

Christine,

Welcome to APUG from NYC.

If you look around here a bit you'll find reference to Foto 3 - perhaps you might want to wander over to Ft. Collins next June?

Welcome from Toronto, the jewel of the North.

Hello Christine and welcome to Apug!

I am also a big fan of Kodak Infrared film. Enjoyed looking at your work.

Welcome Christine!

And I'm soooo jealous - you're living/working the life I dream about! (Now where did I put that winning Lotto ticket?)

Looking forward to your input around here. Now, off to order your book!

Joe

Welcome to APUG, Christine! You are living what has been a dream of mine for a while... to travel the continental states, talk to the poeople and take photos. Very cool!
Nice website!

Welcome to our "corner". I love your work, glad to have your knowledge to counterbalance my ignorance.

Hi Christine,

Welcome, first of all, and I remembered your name from the article in BW magazine, and the look of your portraits. Glad to see you're still at it. Why don't you tell us a bit more about how you do what you do, especially the part about handling film and darkroom work while on the road.

You say the word and I'll go with you!!

By the way, it would be great to see some photos of your motorhome darkroom in the Darkroom Portraits thread--

Welcome from the U.K. I suspect that living and working as you do isn't as carefree as many would imagine. You have my admiration. Nice website, especially the lighthouses. We're never that far from one on this small island

Your work is beautiful. I especially like the "tree in crater of the moon...".

Welcome!

Janet (from North Carolina where we have small-town festivals)
