Hi APUG Folks,

I just joined, and I look forward to learning from the members out there. I am a passionate fan and creator of fine art black and white photography. I create work that I like to start, plus I do portrait work for friends (and for experience). The human form, beauty and fashion topics, texture in common things, and unusual compositions are what motivate me. I am also very interested in the psychology behind art and photography.

I would love to meet other Analog Photographers in the New York City area to shoot together, etc. Anyone out there? I hope to talk to you soon!

BWGirl, Where in Wisconsin are you located? I went there about 7 years ago and it was so beautiful. I went twice in one summer. I once drove from Chicago to Janesville to watch GM build my truck and then I took a 1-week vacation in the Shawno (sp?) area about 45 minutes west of Green Bay. During that trip I drove to Door County (the part of Wisconsin that jutts out into the great lake) and got amazing photos along the sea shore near Sturgeon Harbor.

You definately live in a great place.

Welcome. There are a few New Yorkers around here, myself included. When the APUG Traveling Portfolio comes to town, I try to organize a gathering at my place, so keep an eye out for that.

I will know for sure in a few weeks or so- but I'm hoping for Parsons. And if I don't get in there I will be going to Pratt.
