Hello everybody,
I am a 24 years old guy trying to do his best with its photographic equipment. My story with analog film has just begun a year ago. Back there, i wanted to understand the photographic art, and decided that i should begin from where "everything started", the film cameras...
So i bought myself a Yashica MG-1, and took some shots with. When finding out it was not working well (even though it did some great shots) i stopped using it. I met the "Lomographic flow" and bought a Lomo LC-A (old Cyrillic one) on Ebay. I had some fantastic shot using slide film with. I also got a Lomo Fisheye that i only used for fun.
After reading lots and lots about technical information, i decided it was time to buy a "real" camera. So i got a Canon A-1 and got the 50mm lens from my dad.
My main two cameras are now the LC-A which i use to do graphic saturated color photos and my Canon A-1 to do b&w...
My future will be two new lenses for my canon, probably a 28mm and a 85mm. I would as well love to jump into the medium format with a TLR . And i would also love to do some instant photos, i still need to look for any alternative of the Polaroid...
To finish, i am a French guy who just moved a week ago in Australia, Adelaide. I decided to introduce myself on the English forum because i guess that's where i will be most of the time and i still need to catch up with the English photographic therms !
I would happily meet people here in Adelaide, and would love to join in a photo-club to learn how to develop my own b&w
Hope that wasn't too long presentation,
Cheers,
Mathieu
