Hi guys Lovely to be here only just come across this forum. I’m Elle and I’m 29 living in Essex. I shoot 35mm and medium format I will include some shots below! I use a Pentax ME and for medium format a Hasselblad 500cm.

Hope this is an appropriate place to post this just thought it might find someone who is interested

Hi Elle, I'm Terry, who also lives in SoS, in SS2 as well!

Great to hear there are others out there locally. I've met a few, as I did a degree in photography at Southend 'University', just a few years ago now, as a 'mature student'. I was 64 this year but feel about mid 20's in my head, if not in my mobility - a car ran over my foot 20+ years ago, which changed my whole life...

Until now though, I knew nothing about The Blokhouse and it's only about a mile away from me!!! Looking at an online map, is it in the back of the Greyhound Trading Estate? I'd definitely be interested in meeting up sometime and well up for an intro at the former.

It's sunny on and off at the mo, so I'm just going out for a while with my newly bought 35mm pinhole camera, so will be back and checking in again soon.

Oh, and not to knock this site, as it's great, but I am also (mostly on) Film and Darkroom User (FADU = https://www.film-and-darkroom-user.org.uk/forum/fadu_front_page.php), which is mostly a UK member base, with a few from Europe and one or two from down under. The site is STRICTLY film and darkroom based. Pop in and say hi. They are a really friendly group and the site is not so overwhelming with a huge number of posts every hour of the day btw.

Wow hey Terry! What a small world. That’s the one the greyhound estate you’ve got it so sorry to hear about your accident, but if your young in your mind then that’s all that matters.
