Not having cameras large enough I can't easily determine the coverage of my 210mm and 300mm GRII's.

My150mm GRII covers 10"x8", so the 210 and 300 must give significantly larger coverage.

Any advice would be appreciated.

My 210 GRII covers 5x12, I seem to remember reading that it's about 370mm or so. How's yours for sharpness in the corners? Mine gets soft outside 320 or so. Don't know anything about the 300.

Has anyone tried a 260mm Hexanon GRII on 7x17 with any success? From what I have read it should be close, but I haven't found someone who has tried it. I have been offered a lens without shutter and I thought I would ask before I waste a lens board.

Thanks,
John Powers

Thank you both. Not looking good for this. Has anyone else another view?

Thanks,

Just a note for any 8x10 users running across this, I have a 150mm GRII that definitely doesn't cover 8x10 at infinity; I can just nip each corner. I think there's a modification (removing a spacer?) that allows it to just cover, but whether that affects performance, I don't know. But it's a wonderful semi-macro lens on 8x10...

Mark,
mine covers, with some (little) room for movements, covers well will be determined when I process some film the next night or two. Not sure if mine has/has not the shims, as it was poorly stored and short of drilling out the setscrews, it's not coming apart.
