Here is a QTR profile for carbon transfer using the Epson r1800

I have recently started working on carbon transfer and one of my first tasks was the creation of a printer profile for my Epson r1800. I couldn't find an existing one as a starting point. So, I created one from scratch and below is the result.

While I am sure this profile is far from perfect, others might benefit from it as a starting baseline. I would also be happy to get comments on the settings I have chosen. When it came to ink limits I started with approximations of what I observed in other profiles and worked from there. I got started in carbon by taking a workshop from Sandy King. So, the tissue I used for the test prints is his formulation.

The text of the profile follows:

#Notes This profile is for printing negatives for carbon transfer on the Epson r1800. Test negatives were
#Notes printed on Pictorico OHP film and exposed at 300 units. The tissue used was Sandy King's
#Notes formulation, i.e., 16 grams of Black Cat Ink with tissue coated to a wet height of 0.7mm. The
#Notes sensitizer was 5% ammonium dichromate mixed 1:1 with 90% isopropyl alcohol. The tissue was
#Notes brush sensitized at approximately 1ml for every 10 square inches.
