Here for the first time -- hello to all

Hello:

I just learned of APUG. A great site!

I've been using an 8x10 Wisner for 15 years. That's my main camera.

I also use a 50-year-old Rolleiflex. For snapshots of my kids, I use a 35mm Canon FTb. Lately, I've been thinking about using the Canon for "serious" work. Anthony Guidice of Defender Photo has been showing some good 35mm work on his web site, and this has got me to thinking...

You will be happy to find there are quite a few very nice people here that are geographically very close to where you live!
