I was reading a book about photography in the Victorian period and learned that Queen Victoria's husband Prince Albert was quite a shutter bug... he even had a darkroom constructed at Windsor castle.
Does anyone know if there is still a darkroom there?
I understand that Queen Elizabeth carries on the tradition of royal photography. I saw a photo of her the other day shooting with her Leica, (not sure which model) and started to wonder about her photos. Does she shoot slide or print film, colour or black and white? One would think she shoots Ilford for B+W
. Does she make her own prints or send them to the local one hour lab? Is there a royal printer? does she she have a flickr account
