I've just acquired a Wollensak 10 inch Veritar which probably could do with a CLA. Any suggestions on who I might contact about doing the job. Lens mounted in al Alphax shutter. The ones I've seen online seem to have the rear elements mounted in the same type aluminum housing as is used on the front. Mine however is a black barrel. Is that a normal configuration? Thanks in Advance. Bill Barber

John, thank you. I'll check with Zack's about the CLA. The lens came as part of kit (guess you would call it that in large format) which included a excellent condition 5X7 Noba studio camera, 4X5 reducing back, roll film back, extra lens board and a Caltar Pro Series 210mm f6.1 on the camera. Really was interested in the kit because of the Wollensak which is on a Burke and James lensboard that can be used with my B&J 8X10 and 5X7 reducing back. Will sell the Noba locally. It is truly in beautiful condition and very functional. Was glad to get the Wollensak at a favorable price. Bill Barber

sounds like quite a find !
you will be happy to know that lens gleefully covers 5x7
the catalog on cameraeccentric's website has a lighting / technique article
if that is useful .. it makes beautiful high key-stuff, has a real glow ..

have fun !
