I bought a 100mm x 100mm wooden lens board for my Zone VI camera. It did not fit. I discovered that I have the Zone VI Wista Version 4 x 5.
I measured the opening at 96mm x 99mm and sanded the board to fit the opening. Now the lens board appears to be too thick. It is 3mm thick (1/8").
The 2 prongs that hold the lens board into the bottom of the opening don't appear to be wide enough to accept this board? They look closer to 2mm wide.
Should I reduce the thickness of this board to 2mm? Does anyone have this camera or know the exact thickness of a board that will insert into it correctly?
If I reduce the overall thickness of the board, should I sand the front of the board or the small flange on the back of the board?
Am I missing something here? I don't want to force anything. Thanks in advance. My first box of film arrived in the mail today.
