Hi ,

while preparing the film supply for a one week holiday trip starting tomorrow
I found 3 rolls 120 Velvia 100, outdated since May 2005 ! Aarrrghh !!

They slept in the fridge at 6°C all their life, but not in the freezer !

Has anybody any experiences with such stuff ? The question is NOT if they are affected in any way, rather are they are still good enuff for some holiday shots ?

Thanks in advance !

Enjoy your holiday.

Tante grazie ! Tho they never had been out of the fridge I wasn't sure if the 6°C would be low enuff .

Regards,

I just recently used some of my Velvia 50 that has beenin the fridge since 1999 and it developed perfect and showed correct color rendition, so I would not worry at all.

Have a great Holiday.

i've started shooting velveeta 50 that has been in a luke warm basement for the past few years.

i've quite enjoyed the results

have fun on your holiday!

You're panicing? , how bout I trade you that roll of Velvia 100, for some of my rolls of ektachrome EPD (50speed I think) that expired sometimes in the 80s and wasnt refrigerated.
