Hello to all.

This is my first post here.

I have recently bought a Rodenstock 35mm f/4 Eurygon enlarging lens from KEH for my Paterson enlarger. The description of the lens says it is 39mm but it doesn't screw into the lens mount of the enlarger. It appears that the lens thread is slightly larger than 39mm. The description on KEH site was "requires ring". What kind of ring is required to mount this lens? Also, any other info (no. of elements, performance, etc.) on this lens is welcome.

Thanks in advance.

You've been had slightly. The 35/4 Eurygon isn't an enlarging lens, it is a macro lens for the Polaroid MP-3 system. As sold for the MP-3, it screws into the front of a #1 Prontor Press shutter, same threading as Compur and Copal #1 shutters. M40x0.75.

I've had two, both were mediocre.

Thanks a lot, Dan. Much grateful for all the information. I suspected something was amiss. And KEH had listed this among enlarging lenses :-(

What the good folks at KEH don't know would fill libraries.
