Help needed. What are these marks on the image?

Hello,
please see the image attached*
I developed the film. There are "bubble" marks in the sky, and those repeat across about 15 frames of the roll. Did I do something wrong while developing? Please let me know. Thanks in advance!

Looks like air bubbles on the film for part of the developing time....or insufficient volume of developer to fully cover the film while on the spiral.

Too big to be air bubbles. Must be streaks from improper level of developer or bad agitation or poor wetting.

I developed two more rolls over the weekend and was careful about the quantity of developer as well as agitation. No issues or random marks anymore!

By quantity I meant the necessary liquid to cover both reels: 570 ml according to my tank instructions. I use a Paterson beaker to measure a 1 to 9 dilution of Ilfosol 3. Any suggestions/ideas/etc?

Ahh ok, makes sense. Though wouldn't most those plastic reel/tanks have their required measurements listed on the bottom of the tanks? (like on the ones we have in campus, it states 290ml per 35mm on the bottom, as well as volume per 120/220 reel).

If it says 570 on your tank, you can go with that, if it's easier to do the math you should be able to do 600ml since there may be a little room.

1:9 for 570 would be (take 570, divide by 10[the total # of parts 1+9], take 1 of that for developer, 9 of that for water)

57ml of developer, and 513ml of water.

I do recommend pre-wetting the negatives with just water (of the appropriate temperature, if the water is too cold/hot compared to the developer mix, you might cause reticulation) for a minute or so, tapping it a bit to release any air bubbles trapped. Some negatives/formulas don't like it but for most the standard stuff out there, pre-wetting can't hurt.
