Hi folks... does anyone out there know the correct rating for the bulb in the SEI Photometer - Is 6 volt 6 watt correct?

Not 6 volt 6 watt, Inside you have a 1.5 volt D cell battery.

I used a No. 131 from Bulbster.com

1.3V .1A/G3-1/2 Mini Screw Base

I don't see the bulb rating on page 10. Can't imagine a D-Cell even making such a bulb glow.

The original bulb was frosted, the replacements are clear, so I "sanded" the bulb to make it frosted.

A closer reading shows that PDF page 20 refers to an external illuminator accessory rather than the internal lamp.

Now THAT, I believe. Sure would be nice to have an external standard illumnant. Instead I just adjust the bulb until the dial agrees with one of my other spotmeters then I mark a needle line on a piece of screen protector.
