Hi everyone, first off, want to say that I really appreciate all your help and am so grateful for this website/community!

Soooo I ordered a seal from Jon and installed a new hinge and latch seal. Before I run/waste any more film, I wanted to get your eye on what appears to be a massive ding in the body, and if you know of a material that I could get at a hardware store (maybe something like opaque rubber cement?) to fill it in: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/uikbolhg8iweo10/AAB6jMBYTHopS3yLCbhrDwDGa?dl=0 Please note that the ding is underneath where the seal goes, and extends to the piece above the seal. If you think I'm being paranoid and dont need to fix this please let me know too! Thanks!

No, you are not paranoid. Yes you need to address the dent.
