Hello,

I recently bought a 12" Wollensak lens in a Alphax shutter. It has a double pole. ( this shutter has two male studs!) I need to purchase a female 2 pole recepticle that will connect to my 4803cx speedotron strobe system. Can some one please tell the answer to this paultry problem and where to buy it. thank you in advance.

A cord from an old electric shaver may have the bi-pole end that you are looking for and then if you have a cord end for the flash, a quick solder job and you should be good to go.

Paramount can also do custom cords, if the particular cord you need isn’t a stock item.

thanks to all that responded. Paramount has the cord that I need. I have tried it and it does work. thankk you AGX for your direction it was very helpful. I did not know Paramount existed. thanks again APUG for having this. . . . . . .

I learned about that firm some years ago only via Apug too...

So far I did not have to buy from them. However whenever I come across a weird connector, be it low or mains voltage, I try to acquire it. Some day I might need it.
(A motto thougfh that causes things to pile up. So beware...)

Paramount makes great custom cords, do not bother to cobble something together.

The best thing I've bought from Paramount is their PC Tip conditioner: https://paramountcords.com/product/pcd-pc-tip-conditioner-plus/
