Some SOB stole my 35mm camera bag with my camera (FM) and 5 lenses.
One of these was inherited from my father.
It was a "portrait: lens, all metal and way pre AF, my father probably bought it in the late 70's or early 80"s.
My recollection is that is was an 80mm f 1.9 lens,
I have tried to locate one to replace it since it was one of my favorite lenses.
Am I in early Alzheimer's? Could I have totally forgotten the mm or the f stop?
Please help!

You probably had a 85mm f2.0 non-AI lens.

Look like this?

The only thing I am sure off (but who knows) is that it was a number ending in cero and the f stop was less than 2.
Thanks

Well there was also the 85mm f1.8 Nikkor H Auto...

That is it!
I saw Blowup in Paris 3 months ago, love it.
I will now hunt for one in the usual channels.
Thanks a lot to all of you.
