I have a nice vivitar flash unit.. the name plate has fallen off.
On the back it says m/p/o in red letters... does that mean it will work for minolta/pentax/olympus cameras?

it takes 4 AA batteries and has TTL A1 A2 M settings

Thanks for any help.

Update: its a vivitar 2800 D
Yes the m/p/o on it means that it will work on pentax/minolta/olympus

-I found a pic of a similar model online and i confirmed it by looking inside the battery door it says: V 2800 D 4

Should have a guide number slider on the back that will also let you use it manually with almost any camera with a plain old hotshoe or Viv style X-sync chord mount. If it's gone, the guide numbers should be easy enough to figure out.
