Hi. I'm still looking for a printer - one on which I can get high-quality, b+w and clolour photographic prints (8x10" is probably the largest I'll print) and with which I can also print regular documents. Is the Canon Pro 9000 good ? Am I better off going with an Epson Stylus or HP? Which one? I don't have the means right now to pay $1000+ for the R2400...so what are my options?!

Thanks for your help!

All three manufactures are making great machines. I only know Epson, so can not comment on Canon and HP. Don't take my comment as an endorsement of Epson. No printer is perfect, they all have a learning curve, and each has strengths over the others.

Read over the spec sheets of all the printers you are interested in for comparison.
