Hello everyone, I just wanted to chime in and say hello. My name is Don, and along with many forums it still has it's nuances that I must learn . I am 23 and I started to my photography endeavors on film but went digital since 2008. I am a Wedding and Lifestyle portrait photographer and I'm in the process of coming back to shooting film. I just bought a Mamiya 645AF and a F100, and have shot some of my client work with them. I am very astonished how thin the DOF on medium format is, but anyway that's my spiel.

Welcome to APUG!

Pleased you found the site. Yes film DOF as the formats get larger was a surprise to me from 35mm film. Digital went the other way with the more compact formats.

There is a reason that I still drag a 2400w/s pack to some larger group indoor, or after dark shoots when it is m/f or 4x5 I'm packing.
