Hello my name is Carol (Flutot) Miller, and you
might have heard of me. Bob Fowler has mention
me quite often of late, regarding my repair work.
I am not a photographer, but do love taking pictures with
my Pentax K1000.
I do have a small camera repair shop and my favorite
thing to work on is Large format shutters, and in the
past the only customer (with L.F.) was Dagor77 until local business
began to die out, (I don't work on the electronic stuff)
and he suggested that I put a CLA listing on ebay. Since
that time I am know getting work from all over, by the kind

Do you also work on MF shutters? I have a Mamiya TLR 55mm shutter which needs a CLA.

If anyone out there doesn't know who Carol is, she's the patron saint and resurrector of large format shutters. I gasp at the fate of those otherwise fine mechanisms that met their doom because they weren't sent to her

Hi everyone!

I am in Whittier, California about 30 miles east of Los Angeles, I do work on
M.F. Shutters and 35mm cameras, but only the oldies! Not familiar with all the M.F. Cameras though, the ones that Whittierite would bring in are Mamiya's, Yashica, Rollies! But I will look at most anything.
I got into this business because, I grow up in it. My Father started the shop in 1954 when he went from Watch Repair to Camera Repair. Later he started a school and taught Camera Repair. My first Job for my Dad was finding those run-away screws and spring that alway seem find there way to the floor!
My Father had a magic touch with cameras and I hope to think that I too have inherited a little of that magic touch. My Father passed in 1997 and I took over the
camera shop with my Husband, he works on the Projectors.
Oh, by the way, I did work on my own car, back when cars where cars and you
didn't have to have a manual just to set the dang radio!!
