I'm terrible at intro posts, I never know what to say and I hate talking about myself lol

So I've had a collection of Minolta lenses gathering dust that I picked up cheap to adapt to digital, and ADHD does as ADHD does a couple weeks ago I randomly hoped on ebay and started looking for cameras.
I ended up getting damn near mint XD for a very good price (not as good as it would've been if I bought it 5 years when I bought the lenses 🙃), it needs light seals and all of the controls needed a good back and forth to get everything working freely and making consistent exposures but otherwise it looks damn near new.

So ADHD's been doing it's thing ever since and I've now got a Konica C35 I'm trying to get the meter working on, a second C35 and a Pentax KM coming next week and I stumbled upon Photrio because I started researching developing and scanners, normally I don't jump feet first to this extreme but after comparing the price of developing and scanning + shipping both ways in Canada doing it myself started looking reallllly good if I shoot at least a roll or 2 a month.

Anyway, Hi!
I'm Kayla, I have impulse problems and ramble a lot 😂
(also 🤞 I get my meds sorted out, this is getting expensive considering I haven't taken a single analog picture since the mid 90s so I better stick with this hobby! 🙃)

Hi - my advise is stop buying cameras before it's too late! "Too late" comes very quickly.....

I've owned a lot of Konica C35 cameras, and just sold one here to a fellow member. Great little cameras w/ an excellent lens. If the light meter is dead it's out of my area of expertise, but it could be something as easy as a wire come loose or a broken wire.

The meter "works" but rarely goes over 2.8 and usually flutters and stops until i tap the body.
So far I've repaired the battery holder because the tabs came away from the plastic rivets. Next up is pulling out the soldering iron 😒

It's a shame because it's really clean otherwise!
