Hi

newb

have some b/w here (35mm)

http://www.flickr.com/photos/33549384@N05/

am also into Medium Format (Kiev 60 and various pre-1970's cameras) with a hope to progress one day into even larger formats w/ alternative print techniques

[ use digital, but more as a reference tool than anything else - for which i find it very useful ... but 'corrupted file' syndrome is a forever nightmare :-o ]

also into 8mm ciné film and develop this increasingly on my own / also due to rocketing costs  ~ and also it's more fun!

thanks

Ric

ps. there is a 35mm section at my flickr page right

Hi there Ric,
you are in just the right place to share the enjoyment of your tools and for your further explorations!
Is there a way to show us your movies?

Where are you from btw?

Ric - hello and welcome to APUG from western Massachusetts USA.

Hello, Ric. Welcome to APUG from across the pond a bit.

Welcome from Indiana in the USA.

thanks Chaz

great to find a photo analog/ue site! i have been darkrooming since the early 1980's, just can't get that buzz from digital although it is a useful tool: there is a magic about chemicals and safe lights

Ric

Hello Ric welcome to APUG! I use a darkroom myself also and kinda like the old cameras too.

Jeff

hi Jeff - thanks - yes, there's nothing quite like it, and 'happy accidents' ~ much harder to get one of those in the wonderful world of digital software
