Hello!

My real name is Jonas and I'm 15 years old. I'm glad I found this Apug-Forum!
Well, I really like taking photos, because I can relax, while taking photos, developing or printig them in my own darkroom.
At the moment I usually use a Minolta X-500 with either 35, 50 or 85mm lenses, but I haven't chosen "my film" yet. Today I'm trying this film, tomorrow maybe another one. What I can say until now is, that I think I'm going to stick to the Fuji Acros, but I don't know with which developer. So there's a lot to work on!

Beside taking photos, I really like reading book, listening to music (Björk, Tori Amos, Kate Bush, PJ Harvey.......) or also cooking (I'm a vegetarian  ).

P.S: I'm german, so I'll do my best in expressing myself correctly, if you don't understand me,because I wrote too confusing, just feel free to ask again!

Kind regards
Jonas

Welcome Jonas. Your English is far better than my German that I studied in high school and college, so I wouldn't worry about it.

If you have Acros, I recommend you get going with it. you will find soon that you can work with any film, it is learning the film and honing your technique that is important.

Welcome from Canada Jonas. I too am curious about your
palindrome. I did get a big laugh from Andy's Morse code sig! Ha !
Experiment with various films and find which style you prefer for
different subjects:nature, people, machines, buildings, etc.
Best wishes,

/Clay

Hi Jonas:

Hopefully, you'll be able to enjoy using film for many years to come. It's great to see younger people discovering film!
