Hi All,
I'm very excited to have found this forum. I was googling developing color negatives and found a thread that led me here. I recently started considering developing my own negatives b/w and color, because the lab I go to is a 30 minute drive in good traffic. With the development, fuel and parking it's starting to really hurt the wallet. Plus I enjoy having more control over the process so I have a friend who's a 20+ year photographer looking for a good darkroom for me.
I currently own a Nagaoka 4x5, Mamiya 645 afd and a Voigtlander Bessa R3M. I've been shooting primarily color although I've tried t-max 400 and delta 400. I think I'll start shooting more b/w when I'm able to develop on my own. I have an epson v700 to scan with and I've been really happy with the results.
Looking forward to learning a lot about darkroom development here.
Thanks,
-David
