Hello, I'm a long time reader, finally making an account; I never know how much time I will be able to spend on all of these online communities... Anyway, I'm from the Twin Cities, I shoot pretty much exclusively in B&W- right now I am on a big 120 kick, but I like a bit of 35mm for my more informal work; equipment wise I am currently using the Mamiya 7 and a bunch of Nikon stuff. My work would probably be best classified as landscape and documentary photography; I tend to work on specific projects more than focusing on an exclusive subject.

I finally joined because I have found that the waning knowledge of film in the general photographic community has made this sort of networking indispensable. I can't get much useful information from fellow local photographers anymore.

Welcome! I'm close by in Rice Lake, WI (2 hours). I work for 3M and have a daughter and first grandchild (Oct 21) in the Twin Cities so am over quite often. I'm also a Mamiya 7 guy. Keep burning film!
