Hi all,
My name is Ruben, I'm from the Netherlands and I'm a amateur photographer.
I mostly shoot medium format, both colour (favourites are Ektar & Portra 400, but I'd like to try Fuji 400H soon as well) and black and white (mostly Fuji Acros & Ilford HP5+).
I use two cameras actively: a Hasselblad 500CM with the 80 and 150mm, mostly for landscapes and portraits and a Rolleiflex "New Standard" from 1939, for everything where a lot of walking around is required (e.g. city trips or hikes).
I develop my own black and white film. I don't have a darkroom yet, but I'm planning to start one in a few months, once our attic is renovated. Once I have a more dedicated space for developing and printing, I'll also start to develop my own colour film and hopefully print my own black and white photos.
I also scan my negatives at home, but I'm not really pleased yet (I use an Epson v550 with the Digitaliza holder). I was gifted a used Pentax K10D and I'm planning on making a "scanning" setup using the K10D, a Pentax M 50mm 1.7 with extension tubes, a Reprostativ v5 stand and a Kaiser Slimlite plano. Any advice and experiences are very welcome!
On this forum, I hope to (digitally) meet a lot of like-minded analog enthusiast and find a lot of inspiration!
