Hello from the English Lakes

Hello everyone

I have been shooting analogue for a while, was a member back in 04 or 05 (joined a few times, keep losing passwords!) and since then. I browse here all the time and thought I would join again so I can ask the experts some questions.

I am near Keswick and currently it is too hot, even in zone II.

The Lake District is getting to be a regular stomping ground for me - Some great spots to go shooting if you can avoid the tourist... Alternatively, go with a shotgun and a tazer. One for the mozzies, the other for the errant tourist :eek:

I was just thinking this afternoon how helpful APUG was when I first decided to try my own B&W processing, about 5 years ago; I got loads of help and even had people offering to send me stuff so I didn't waste too much money. I still have a PDF print-out that someone directed me to, a course booklet thing for a London group, and that steered me in a good direction.

My Grandmothers first trip abroad was to the Lake District on honeymoon, I still have the two photos she bought there in 1910, they hung on the wall in their farmhouse for many years, she took a great interest in photography, unfortunately it skipped a generation
