I'm only new here myself, but it does seem like there are heaps of people here who really know their stuff and don't mind sharing.

I reckon if a few more Aussies join, and maybe some Poms, we might even get 'colour' accepted as the standard spelling!!!

Interestingly, I have noted that quite a few Canadians seem to use the colour spelling online, whereas all Canadians I know personally in Melbourne, use color!

I don't know what came over me when I spelt colour that way. I am usually very aware of correct spelling.
