My name is Andrew, I am a pediatric nurse living in Las Vegas Nevada. I have recently gotten in to film photography after years of amateur digital wildlife photography. So far I am just shooting and developing my own B&W film but hope to eventually get the space to do c41 development and photo enlarging/printing.

Right now I am mostly shooting 35mm SLRs and Soviet rangefinders but I also recently purchased a mamiya 645 and can definitely see it replacing my Olympus OM-G as my go to for serious projects.

Welcome to Photrio. I am headed down your way in about a week. I am hoping that your weather cools down a bit before I get there but it doesn't look like that will happen. We've also had some pretty warm weather up in the north. Since I do most of my development work in an RV in the driveway I have had to make some on the spot development time adjustments because the water temperature of solutions can climb pretty quickly even with the cooler running. Actually color development has been easier lately because maintaining 104F temps has been easier to do.

Welcome to Photrio. My wife and I visited LV a few years ago and really enjoyed the nearby Red Rock Canyon area west of LV. Vegas is more than gambling and has some really nice landscapes.
