My name is Siggy and I love film photography. Lately I am taking mostly b&w photos, but also slides. Since I am red-green blind, this is the best way to take pictures. I have my own darkroom with a Durst M605 enlarger. As far as cameras are concerned I am suffering from the GAS-syndrome. I have almost one hundred of those babies. My favourites are the Voigtlander Vitomatic IIa, the Rolleiflex SL35, and the Rolleiflex 2.8F. The slides are projected on a 2.6m x 2.6m screen, using Leica Pradovit and Rolleivision Twin projectors. For 6x6 I am using a P11, Rollei 66AV and a Rollei 66 dual P.
The first picture I ever took was with a Bilora Box 6x9, when I was five years old.

Welcome to APUG Photrio!!

Welcome Siggy.
I was born in Scarborough, my family moved west at the beginning of the 1960s, and I cheered for the Leafs until the Canucks came into the league.
So I feel your pain :D.
Hope you enjoy your time here.

Welcome to Apug!

I assume you are referring to b&w slides.

Hey Don, where north of Toronto are you from. I live between Fergus and Orangeville.

I'm about thirty minutes the other side of Orangeville. I could almost wave to you on a clear day (you'd need real good eyes to see it).
